Wow, back again! I've had a Surface Pro for a month now and it's pretty amazing. The size, the weight, the performance, the build materials and build quality, a real 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS. It's almost perfect, the only downside is the battery life. The Surface Pro 2 solves, but that costs twice as much. I'll survive the minor inconvenience.

Out With The Old, In With The New

Wow, haven't updated this in a while! Seriously, 2011? That was almost two phones ago!!!

Samsung Epic 4G,  I chose wisely the last time when i decided on you instead of the HTC EVO 4G, HTC EVO Shift 4G or the Sprint Arrive. You served me well for 22 months with your great cameras and removable battery. Your sliding QWERTY keyboard will be missed, but i am strong, i will survive.

Samsung Galaxy Note II, i choose you! Your 5.5" 720p Super AMOLED HD screen will make up for not having a hardware keyboard. Your 2GB of RAM will allow me to run even wilder than before with multitasking. Your SD slot will let me hoard video, music and images without worry. I have Unlimited Data, but that won't matter when i want to record high quality HD video.

I should do this more often... maybe next year???

Another One Bites The Dust…

Looks like my PlayStation 3 is dead! Current Death Score: Xbox 360: 3, PlayStation 3: 1,Wii: 0. They just don’t make them like they used to… I remember back in the days when the biggest hassle you had was blowing into a cartridge and then it worked… those days are gone At least with the 360, Microsoft repaired it for free all 3 times! There is no such luck with Sony, it’s pay up or hit the road, Jack.

I Got Myself A Netbook

Uh-Oh!

Seriously, this thing is awesome! I got an Acer Aspire One D150. The Blue version was released first, but i didn't want blue. I waited for what seemed like eon for the Black unit to be released, though it was really only a few weeks. I also won the battery lottery, as a few people may know, they normally come with a 4400mAH battery, but i got a 5200mAH battery. Some even luckier folk got a 5800mAH battery.

The first thing i did was install a 2GB stick of RAM to boost this bad boy up from 1GB, as 2GB is a pretty healthy amount for Windows XP. Then, of course, i uninstalled some of the junk that came preloaded on there. Then i installed useful applications, like Firefox, Grabit and Winamp :D

The matching Mouse is a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000, that i got on sale at Target for $18, and it's awesome! The dongle for it fits under it and acts as a power button of sorts. When the dongle is snapped inro place, the mouse is turned off by a small button that is pushes down. The mouse works really well too, it's very responsive and slick.

I've also been playing lots of Battlefield: Bad Company still... ON PS3 now too! Why expand to PS3? That's how i roll!!!

Did Somebody Say McD... Wait, What?

I had a McGangBang recently. Ok, not recently, a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't get around to posting about it until now. "A McWhat?" you say? Yes, a McGangBang, a crazy combination of a McChicken and a Double Cheeseburger, although some people cheap out and get the recently introduced McDouble instead of an authentic Double Cheeseburger. The McDouble has two all beef patties, but only one slice of cheese, and costs about 20 cents less than a Double Cheeseburger, and in this economy, some people find it wise to save in any way possible. McDonalds introduced it so they could keep a double burger on the dollar menu, even if it meant losing a slice of cheese. Oh wait, that's right, i've been sidetracked, so now back to the madness. To make a McGangBang, first you just split the Double Cheeseburger (or McDouble if you're on a budget) in two by seperating the top beef pattie from the bottom one. Then you place the McChicken (yes, the whole McChicken, including the buns) in the middle of the two halves that you just seperated. Finished! Now you eat it :D

... And I Don't Even Like Guitar Hero!

If there was a Steel Pan Hero or Soca Hero or Reggae Band or something like that, i might actually care about music games. Well, at least i can care about corporate cross promotional meal deals based on music games. The KFC 'Fully Loaded Box' cross promotion with Guitar Hero is a wonderful meal. You get a chicken snacker, a leg or thigh, two chicken strips, two side orders, a biscuit and a 32oz drink. Yes, this meal *could* feed two people, but where's the fun in that? Nowhere, that's where.

Special Bonus Paragraph: What happened to those updates the past few months? Here's a clue: I got stuck!

Hanging Around With Bad Company Late At Night Is Bad For Sleep!

Seriously, there is nothing worse for your sleeping routine than hanging out with Bad Company late at nights. You will suffer during the day because of it, you will randomly feel sleepy, you will randomly feel hungry. It's just so much FUN to do it! Battlefield: Bad Company is crazily addictive, and knowing that being a Defender is much easier than being an Attacker just puts more pressure on both, since you want to succeed against all odds while attacking, and you don't want to be the defenfing team that blew it by losing due to some lucky attacker sneaking thru your defenses and getting his squad to spawn on him. The game just gives out sleepless nights with
reckless abandon. If only the single player was 1/10 as fun as the multiplayer...
